I spent a wonderful, very exciting and intensive time here! I have a warm friendship with the young family which certainly will keep after my "Granny Time", also as the parents will be returning to Norway with their 3 children in 2016 (following a 2 year stay in Australia) and then the distance won't be "quite so far". :-)

Ich hatte hier eine wunderschöne, sehr spannende und intensive Zeit! Mit der jungen Familie verbindet mich eine herzliche Freundschaft, die sicherlich auch über meine "Granny-Zeit" hinausgehen wird, zudem die Eltern mit ihren drei Kindern 2016 (nach 2 Jahren Australienaufenthalt) wieder nach Norwegen zurückgehen werden und somit ist die Entfernung ja nicht "ganz so weit" :-).

Von Anfang Oktober bis kurz vor Weihnachten 2014 habe ich eine spanische Familie mit zwei Jungen im Alter von dreieinhalb und fünfeinhalb Jahren unterstützt.
Die Familie hat mich sehr gut aufgenommen. Es war mein erster Aufenthalt in Spanien überhaupt und da die Eltern sehr gut Deutsch sprechen, hatte ich für alle meine Fragen immer einen Ansprechpartner.

I supported an Spanish family with two boys aged 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 from the beginning of October until just before Christmas 2014. The family was very welcoming. It was my first stay in Spain and as the parents spoke German very well I always had a person to go to with my questions.

Dear reader,

The end of the year is coming closer by leaps and bounds. Time for many people to take stock and to make plans for the new year. For example to fulfill the long-cherished dream of living abroad. This wish can come true with Granny Aupair: Spend time in a family in a completely new environment in other countries near or far or help in one of our many social projects.

I have very fond memories of my time as Granny Aupair in Kuala Lumpur. This was a very positive and rewarding experience for me. It was really a great opportunity, involved in a very nice family.to get to know a corner of the world and its population, which had been completely unfamiliar to me as to now.

Ich denke sehr gerne an meine Zeit als Granny Aupair in Kuala Lumpur zurück. Das war für mich eine überaus positive und bereichernde Erfahrung. Wirklich eine grossartige Gelegenheit, eingebunden in einer äusserst sympathischen Familie eine Ecke der Welt und deren Bevölkerung kennen zu lernen, die mir bis dahin völlig fremd waren.
