“My altogether 14 months in Ireland were a very interesting and chequered experience, I do not want to miss even though it was pretty exhausting from time to time. However I could use the free weekends to get to know the country. I joined a local choir once a week, where I made some acquaintances and even friends, whom I want to stay in touch with in future.

For me personally this time was a great time-out from everyday life in Germany. The people are much friendlier and more helpful in Ireland than in these parts. Additionally, as I was there with my own car, I was able to see and discover a lot and to enjoy the unbelievably beautiful landscape. I am sure that I will be returning in one or two years for a few months or even go to another country. “
