Being a Granny Aupair in a family

Do you like being around people in general and particularly enjoy spending time with children? Are you passionate about discovering foreign countries, not as a tourist but as a family member? That sounds like you would make a great Granny.
You take the pressure off the family you are staying with and are seen as a real temporary grandma. You take the little ones to school or kindergarten in the morning, pick them up again and look after them: you help with homework, play, do handicrafts, sing or go on small excursions. You become a person of trust for them and can use your wealth of experience to help others.
With free board and lodging, you will have the unique opportunity to explore the way of life in a different country or surroundings and maybe even learn another language.

Being a Granny Aupair as a companion
From time to time we have requests from older or mature people who would like a Granny Aupair as a companion. Whether it's the elderly grandmother of a family, residents with German roots in a retirement home in Namibia or the handicapped elderly gentleman in Canada - they all enjoy company for chatting, going for a walk or reading aloud! As a companion, you will quickly become an integral part of the everyday lives of single people.

Helping in a social project
Would you like to go abroad as a Granny but not necessarily live with a family? Do you have a profession such as nurse, doctor, teacher, educator, seamstress or simply want to lend a hand and use your skills where help is most urgently needed? Then our volunteer work for mature citizens is just the thing for you!
