Dear Ladies,

Are you a nurse, a teacher, a child-care worker, a dressmaker, or do you just want to help where help is most needed? If that is the case, our volunteer projects are just what you are looking for! With your work in one of our projects you help directly and tangibly.
In one of our 17 social projects altogether most of them in developing countries you can immediately put your skills into practice, be it helping women receive education, giving young people their self-esteem back, playing neglected children or even caring for street dogs.
Below we are introducing you to three of our projects from three different continents where you can help in word and deed. Africa or South America – helping hands are need all around the world.

Women aiding women in India

In this project, which is run exclusively by women, women from difficult social circumstances receive training and coaching, while their children are properly supervised and get access to fundamental education. The length of stay is from four weeks onwards. Candidates from the areas of education and social work and/or with craft skills, in particular in the field of textile manufacturing are especially welcome. Good English skills are also preferable.

 

 

Children in need in Ghana

For this project of our Ghanaian partner organisation volunteer helpers are placed in schools, hospitals, as well as health and community centers in the greater Accra-region in the South-East part of the country. The stay is from two weeks to three months or longer. A good knowledge of English is also advantageous. 

 

 

Theatre Project for young people in Nicaragua

Aim of this project is to improve the quality of life of socially disadvantaged children and young people and to strengthen their self-esteem. As Granny in this social project you can help with the acting and circus workshops, give language and IT lessons as well as apply yourself in the areas of painting, crafts, stage building, costume making, marketing and promotion. The length of stay is from four weeks to three months or longer. Good English skills and also Spanish skills (but not conditional) as well as experience with theatre work are preferred.
