“For me India was much more than just a trip as a granny. Something believed long buried was suddenly there again: Courage and thus a new self-confidence, to strike out once again, to re-organise my life. To find out where I really am standing in life, and especially if I can rise above myself. This has something to do with my very personal history: Married at 18, divorced at 22. Bringing up two small children by myself – without a Granny’s help – 18 years long: Burnout and years of severe depression– (then an even more taboo subject than now) culminating in a nearly fatal heart attack. Following open heart surgery and several hospital stays, I thank God for giving me a second life. And I have started this second life with my trip to India. Maybe my life has been curtailed by this but it is intensive once again and I am totally happy, thanks to Michaela Hansen and her organization. “
