Europe has so much to offer in terms of different cultures, cuisines, histories, landscapes….. Reason enough to introduce you to families from all over Europe today. From the lively Catalan capital of Barcelona and the idyllic Swiss Val d'Illiez to the historical cathedral city on the Rhine: all three families are looking for a few helping hands in the near future or for next year. Maybe those will be yours?

Granny wanted in Barcelona from September/October 

The cosmopolitan capital of the Spanish region of Catalonia, Barcelona, is renowned for its works of art and architecture. The imposing Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by the artist Antoni Gaudí can be found throughout the city, as well as numerous museums, galleries and other historical sights plus shopping opportunities.

Here a small Spanish-speaking artist family (username Virginia) with a 4 year old son plus dog are looking for a loving, flexible, temporary Granny to help out as from September/October. The little boy goes to pre-school until the afternoon, so that the Granny would have enough time to explore the exciting metropolis and/or attend a language course. A nice room in an apartment on the outskirts of the city is waiting for the Granny.

Idyllic Swiss valley

The valley of Val d' Illiez is located in the French part of the Swiss canton of Vallais on the banks of the River Vièze. The beautiful village of the same name as the valley lies at the foot of the Dents du Midi and is located in the centre of a famous skiing and hiking area - Les Portes des Soleil.

Here a Granny-experienced soon to be family of six (user name BourbanLu) with three boys (5, 3, currently 10 months) and a baby from January would like to welcome their next loving, baby-experienced Granny Aupair with a driving licence, who also enjoys cooking, to give the mother (a German and French teacher) a helping hand. A nice room with a private bathroom in a large house in a rural area is available for the Granny.

Historic cathedral city on the Rhine

Magnificent Cologne Cathedral, a  lively old town district, the beautiful Rhine boulevard and quaint taverns: the famous German metropolis on the river Rhine is steeped in tradition and history.

Not far from the historic cathedral city, in the beautiful community of Engelskirchen in the so called Bergisches Land, a family of four (user name: Christina Sch.) with two sons, 10 and 7, would like to welcome an experienced, loving temporary grandma with a driving licence who also enjoys cooking, ideally for a longer time.

The parents are both very busy at work and would appreciate a pair of helping hands. Both boys are at school until the afternoon. Two nice rooms with private bathroom in a large house in a rural setting is waiting for the Granny.
