Easter is the celebration of spring - the time when nature awakens to new life all around! And we humans often feel ready to start new ventures with energy and fresh courage. 

So why not try something completely different? Go out into the world as a temporary granny and experience how wonderful it is to feel at home in strange surroundings.  Travelling to a foreign environment as a Granny Aupair is a fanstastic opportunity to immerse yourself in other worlds more intensively than any package tour can offer. And without having to spend loads of money for a longer stay. What are you waiting for?

Lively, historic university town in the heart of Germany  

The city of Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia is a lively university city with many faces, known for its historic old town.

In the Westphalian metropolis a German-French family (user name Alison) with three girls (8, 6 and 5 months) is looking forward to welcoming their next baby-experienced, dynamic, resourceful Granny Aupair who also enjoys cycling (main method of transport in Münster) preferably as from April and ideally for three months or longer. The two older girls go to school until the afternoon, the baby is still at home. 

A lovely private flat with its own bathroom and kitchen in the same building as the family's large flat in the city centre is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be taken over completely.

Magical Emerald Isle

County Mayo in the north-west of Ireland awaits you with a unique history and culture spanning centuries as well as with cosy small towns, breathtaking landscapes and many historic sites. 

In the small English and Gaelic speaking community of Tourmakeady on the edge of Lake Lough Mask and at the foot of the Partry Mountains, a family of five (username annro) with three children (2 girls 7 and 4 and boy 2) would like to welcome their next experienced, cheerful temporary granny with a driving licence as a new family member. Danielle and Nichole go to school until the afternoon and lunchtime respectively, little Jack is still at home. A nice big room with private bathroom in a spacious house in a rural setting will be made available to the Granny. The travel costs are covered in part.

Natural Paradise in Southern Austria 

Spicy-clear alpine air, clear lakes with drinking water quality, situated amongst extensive hiking and bike trails - the Villach region in the centre of Carinthia in southern Austria  is a natural paradise in every season. The town of Villach with picturesque pedestrian zones and many cafés is the heart oft he regon.

Here a granny-experienced small family of three (mum and two children girl 14, boy 11 plus Bernese dog Sunny) with the user name dine is looking for her next animal-loving temporary grandma with a driver's licence to help mum out a bit, especially with dog care. The two children go to international (Englishspeaking) school until the afternoon, so the Granny would also have time to explore the beautiful surroundings.

A large room with private bath in a big apartment on the outskirts of the town is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be covered in part.

If you find families interesting but their entries, such as length of stay and arrival date, do not match your expectations, we recommend that you contact them anyway. Members are often looking for several Grannies in succession. Many things are negotiable and it costs nothing to ask!
