February 10th will see the start of the Chinese New Year with the "Year of the Dragon". Around the world, Chinese people will be celebrating the beginning of the special Year of the Wood Dragon, which only comes around every 60 years. This year, the dragon energy combined with the power of wood brings the perfect dynamic for your personal development. You should use the new year to finally allow change and explore new avenues. It is also advised to always give our best and show perseverance.

By being a Granny Aupair, you can put your resolution to break new ground and continue your personal development into practice right away - whether it's discovering new countries and cultures, becoming part of a different family and simply being in a different environment. The Year of the Wood Dragon is all about learning to act confidently and and to believe in your own abilities.

California Dreamin‘

Enjoy a fantastic coastal view of Los Angeles County, surrounded by lush landscapes, rocks, mountains, cliffs and hillsides! This beautiful setting can be found 30 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

In Rolling Hills on the south end of the peninsula, a recently widowed mother with three children (six year old twin couple and a currently 19 month old girl) with the user name Avanklaveren is looking for an experienced, open, and flexible temporary grandma to help take care especially of the youngest until early afternoon. The two older ones, Sophia and Luke, go to school until the afternoon and have lots of activities afterwards. 

The Granny will be provided with a nice big room with private bath in a large house in a gated community on the outskirts of the town. The family also owns a weekend house on the beach. All travel expenses will be  covered.

The Cradle of Catalan Culture 

The cosmopolitan capital of the Spanish region of Catalonia, Barcelona,  is known for its works of art and architecture. The imposing Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks by the hand of artist Antoni Gaudí can be found throughout the city as well as many museums, galleries and other historical sights.

As from March 1st, a small Croatian-Spanish family (mother and 4 year old son plus cat) with the user name inunkovic would like to welcome a loving, flexible, ideally musical temporary Granny to give her a hand. The little boy goes to preschool until 16.30 so the Granny would have enough time to explore the exciting metropolis and/or visit a language course.

A nice room in an apartment on the outskirts is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be taken over in part.

Next to Nature in Canada’s Lake Landscape

Acres of farming land, nature reserves, various recreational and entertainment facilities - the Huron East region in the Canadian province of Ontario has a lot to offer.

In Brussels, a small village near the Maitland River and Lake Huron, a German-Canadian farming family of five (username EddaFamily) with two girls, 5 and 1, and a boy, 3, is looking for a nature-loving, preferably French-speaking Granny from March/April to support the family on the farm with the children and help them learn French (as this is compulsory at school), with the eldest child starting home school soon.

The Granny will have her own little house with kitchenette and bathroom. Travel expenses will be covered in part.

Once you have made a contact request, you need to have a bit of patience It often takes a few days or even weeks for families to get back to you. The families are often very busy or may collect a few requests before responding.
