The combination of a lack of childcare options and rising costs overall means that grandparents are taking on many more childcare responsibilities than ever before. In some cases, grandparents are even retiring early to help their children go to work - provided they live nearby. However, this is often not the case.

That's why more and more families are turning to a Granny Aupair - like the three we would like to introduce to you below (and who have already enjoyed the support of a Granny Aupair in the past). You can find many more families from all over the world on our online community.

At the heartbeat of America

The White House, the Capitol, exciting museums and beautiful parkland - you can discover it all in Washington D.C.

In the exciting American capital, a granny-experienced little family (mother plus boy 5 and girl 2) and the user name KMattey is looking for their next loving, experienced Granny Aupair from around March or a little later to give the mother, who works as a medical assistant, a helping hand.

Little Charlie goes to school until the afternoon and little Ivy goes to nursery until midday, so the Granny would have enough time for herself. The Granny is provided with a nice room with a private bathroom in a house on the outskirts of the city. Travel expenses will be covered in part.

Scenic Southwest of the States

And further southwest in the States in Mesa, Arizona, very close to the capital Phoenix, a small granny-experienced American-Pakistani medical family (user name Sana) with a currently 9-month-old son is looking forward to their next experienced, responsible and loving temporary grandma from the beginning of April.

A large room with private bathroom in a spacious apartment on the outskirts of the city is waiting for the Granny. Travel expenses will be fully covered.

The Venice of the North   

The Swedish capital is spread over 14 islands - hence its nickname Venice of the North. The beautiful old town, small wooden houses, the Stockholm archipelago, the old mills, the harbor promenade or the Djurgården peninsula - Stockholm has a lot to offer. There are also countless cafés with Scandinavian delicacies and plenty of shopping opportunities.

Ideally from mid-February or a little later, a family of four (girl 3 and boy 1 plus cat) with the user name deshel is looking for their next loving, toddler-experienced temporary grandma with a driver's license (who maybe also can speak some Swedish) to give the parents a helping hand.

Both children go to kindergarten until 3:30 pm, so the Granny would have plenty of time to discover the fascinating surroundings and/or take a language course. The Granny will be provided with a nice large room in a spacious house on the outskirts of the city. The travel costs will be covered in part.

And very important: Please let us know briefly by e-mail which family you will be joining and from when.

Write about yourself and your hobbies in your profile. You can then easily translate this into another language (German, French or English for example) using the Google or Deepl translator. This makes it easier for many families to find out about you.
