Following the stress of the pre-Christmas period and hopefully a few quiet days between the years, the hustle and bustle starts all over again for families in the new year. How good it would be to have a few helping and experienced hands in the house...

As a Granny Aupair, you can provide families with flexible childcare support or help older people as a companion.Not only do you look after the children, but you are also integrated into the family as a temporary granny. Parents can relax and take care of their job while knowing that the little ones are in good hands: As a Granny, you conjure up delicious meals, help with learning, playing, singing, crafting and romping around with the little ones, comfort and cheer them up, take them for walks and much more.

Venice of the North 

The Swedish capital is spread over 14 islands - hence its nickname, the Venice of the North. The beautiful old town, small wooden houses, the Stockholm archipelago, the old mills, the harbour promenade and the Djurgården peninsula - Stockholm has a lot to offer. There are also countless cafés with Scandinavian delicacies and plenty of shopping opportunities.

Here a small family (mother with girl 3 and boy 1 and cat) with the user name deshel is looking for a lovely, experienced temporary grandma with a driving licence to give mum a helping hand as soon as possible. Both children will be going to kindergarten as from January until 15:30, so the Granny would have plenty of time to discover the fascinating neighbourhood and/or visit a language course.

A lovely large room in a big house on the outskirts of the city will be made available to the Granny. Travelling expenses will be covered in part.

Canals, tulips and culture 

And in another city built on water, canals, coffee shops and world-famous museums come together: the Dutch metropolis of Amsterdam has an international flair and offers something for every taste.

Here, a Granny-experienced German-Dutch family (user name: Bouwmanfamily) with two children (girl 7 and boy 3) and two cats is looking for their next loving, reliable temporary Granny, who is not afraid to use a bicycle to support the parents. Sasja and Mika go to school and kindergarten until the afternoon, so the Granny would have plenty of time to explore the exciting metropolis.

A nice room with a private bathroom awaits the Granny in a large flat that extends over three floors. The travelling expenses will be covered in full.

Lakeside scenery in Bella Italia 

Beautiful natural landscapes directly at one of the most popular Italian lakes: with a kilometre-long promenade skirting  the only natural harbour on Lake Maggiore, the historic town of Laveno-Mombello lies on the eastern shore of the lake within sight of the Borromean Islands, the Valais Alps and the Monte Rosa mountain massif.

Here, a single father with a one-year-old son (user name: Alessio) is looking for a flexible, toddler-experienced temporary grandma to help out the dad, who works as a doctor. The little one spends two weeks a month with his father and mainly needs care in the afternoons after kindergarten. The father also has two adult children who are at university elsewhere and are at home at weekends.

A large room in a spacious house in a rural area is available for the Granny. Travelling expenses will be covered in part.
