Dear Ladies,

A grandmother is a wonderful enrichment for family life. She cooks lunch for the offspring while the parents are at work. She reads exciting stories aloud!  And she comforts little aches and pains or teenagers‘  first heartache. Grandmothers are the good soul in many families – hard to imagine how everyday life should function without them. And of course this also applies to our Granny Aupairs!

In honour of all grandmothers a special day has been established in many countries around the world for some time now. Here in Germany the second Sunday in October has been named “Omatag” (Granny’s Day), so next weekend all busy grandmothers and of course Granny Aupairs will be feted. In France it is the first Sunday in March, Italy feasts its grandparents on October 2nd and in the USA the "Grandparents' Day" is celebrated on the first Sunday in September after Labour Day.

Breathtaking Southwest of the USA

Some of the most extraordinary natural spectacles in the world, impressive cultural diversity and an excellent infrastructure, all this awaits you in Arizona.

In Mesa near the capital of Phoenix, a small international granny-experienced family (username Sana) with a currently 5-month-old son is looking forward to their next baby-experienced, responsible and empathic Granny Aupair as from January. The mum is currently studying medicine and already works at the hospital, therefore the family needs support with the care of the little boy.

A nice spacious room with private bathroom in a large flat on the outskirts of the city is waiting for the Granny. Travel costs will be covered in full.

Natural Paradise in Southern Austria

Spicy-clear alpine air, bathing lakes with drinking water quality, situated in between extensive hiking trails and bike trails - the Villach region in the heart of Carinthia in southern Austria  is a natural paradise in every season. The town of Villach with picturesque pedestrian zones and cafés forms the heart of the region.

Here a granny-experienced small family of three (mum and two children girl 14, boy 11 plus Bernese dog Sunny) with the user name dine is looking for an animal-loving temporary grandma with a driver's licence to help mum out a bit, especially with dog care. The two children go to international (Englishspeaking) school until the afternoon, so the Granny would also have time to explore the beautiful surroundings.

A large room with private bath in a big apartment on the outskirts of the town is available fort the Granny. The travel costs will be covered in part.

Culture, Nature and Mountains in the Heart of Europe

As a cosmopolitan city on the water, Zurich combines creative city life with wonderful nature close ot he magnificent Swiss mountains.

Here, a small Greek-Swiss family (mother and 6-year-old son) with the user name antigone is looking for an open-minded, fun-loving, experienced Granny Aupair to assist mum, who works as a doctor. The little boy goes to school until 18:00, so the Granny would have plenty of time to explore the exciting city and its beautiful surroundings. A pleasant room in a nice flat in the city centre awaits the Granny. The travel costs will be covered in part.

Please keep your profile up to date, this way you will also avoid confusing potential families. Please make sure that the date from which you can travel is correct (you can either enter a flexible date or a fixed date). If you enter flexible, families will assume you will be ready to travel at very short notice.  

And very important: Please let us know briefly by email which family you are travelling to and from when.
