Dear Ladies,

the results of a study about older age by the German Allensbach Institute show that following family and hobbies, voluntary work plays a major role in the everyday lives of most senior citizens. Almost 50 percent of the over-65s volunteer an average of four hours a week. The results show, that people who are committed to something do not feel so lonely. And "appreciation keeps you active longer", is emphasized by Gerhard Naegle, Director of the Institute for Gerontology at Dortmund Technical University.

Granny Aupair wants to encourage women, to take the step into the world or at least into an unknown environment combined with a meaningful task. True to the motto "It's now or never", women over 50 can really speed up their life again. Because: Women of their generation are considered socially competent, energetic, confident, responsible and experienced in life, but also spontaneous and curious. Our Granny Aupairs have been proving this around the world for years!

Magical mountain village on Mallorca  

In the Tramuntan Mountains in the west of the Spanish Mediterranean island you can find the charming mountain village of Esporles, with stone-clad houses and winding streets. With its beautiful location and good connections to Palma and the Balearic University, Esporles is becoming increasingly popular with the international community.

Here, a small family (username AntoniaG) with a 1 year old daughter is looking for a loving, fun and experienced temporary Granny with a driving licence to provide some support for the mum, who works from home as a translator - preferably for longer.

The Granny will be provided with a nice big room with private bathroom in a large house in a rural area. Travel costs will be covered in part.

Family in two countries / Germany and France 

Three world famous castles, huge forests and the Seine river: In the French Départment Yvelines situated in the Region of Ile de France about 35 Kilometer north-west of Paris, a small French-German doctors‘ family (user name ams33311) with a 1 year old girl would like to welcome an experienced, flexible Granny Aupair as a new family member.

The family also spends time in Mönchengladbach in the West of Germany near the Dutch Border, so the Granny would have the experience of two cultures and countries. The little girl goes to nursery a couple of hours a day. A nice room in a large apartment in the town center is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be taken over completely.

Canals, tulips and culture

The "Venice of the North" combines canals, coffee shops and world-famous museums: the Dutch metropolis of Amsterdam has an international flair and offers something for every taste.

Here a small family of three (Mum and two daughters 12 and 9 plus 2 cats) with the user name Kyrasch is looking for a loving, empathetic temporary Granny, who also enjoys cooking  to help out the recently single mother, who works as a teacher. Ava and Faye go to school until 15:00 so the Granny would also have enough time to explore the exciting metropolis and/or visit a language course. A nice large room with private bathroom in a big house in the city center awaits the granny. Travel costs will be covered in full.

In the heart of Europe

The small kingdom of Belgium on the North Sea coast delights visitors from all over the world with delicious waffles and chocolate as well as medieval churches and delights with its mix of dynamic, cultural diversity. The capital Brussels offers many sights - including Grande Place, Atomium, Manneken Pis and many beautiful alleys to stroll along.

In the municipality of Limal, south of Brussels, in a wooded area with a beautiful castle in the county of Walloon Brabant, an English-French family of six (username CloCla) with three girls and one boy aged between twelve and two, is looking for a responsible, flexible temporary Granny with a driving licence, who may also be happy to cook and give the parents a hand. Above all, help is also needed with transporting the children to school and to various activities.

The children are at school or kindergarten during the day until 16:00, so the Granny would have enough time for herself. A nice big room in a spacious house will be provided for the Granny. Travel costs will be covered in part.
