Newsletter Families - New Grannies are waiting for you
Dear family,
In many countries plans are already being made for the time after the summer holidays: New school year, maybe a new school, start of nursery school etc. There a lot to organise for families in order to balance school, work and free time. When you have to combine all these things, everyday life can become quite stressful.
Many families dream of having a "temporary granny" at home to support the parents, especially during this stressful time. Our Granny Aupairs are experts in childcare: they play, do handicrafts, sing and bake with the children, take them to school and kindergarten and pick them up there again, or even help with the cooking from time to time: An au pair Granny is an invaluable help for the families and often placements lead to lifelong friendships.
Granny Aupair is based on the principle of reciprocity, as the term "au pair" suggests. This way, the families get the support they desperately need and the temporary grannies have a task in which they are already experienced and which they enjoy. Many Grannies say that it makes them feel rejuvenated and full of energy.

Active and reliable: Granny Sieglinde
During her sabbatical, beginning from October 8th, Granny Sieglinde (user name: Lille1) would like to start off in her Granny Aupair adventure. The sporty 57-year-old tailor and industrial engineer is passionate about baking and cooking, yoga, horseback riding and diving.
The mother of one son is a member of a large family, a great organiser and also very fond of animals. In her profile she writes: "I am looking forward to immersing myself in another culture and language and, as a Granny, I whole heartedly enjoy supporting wherever I am needed! Tackling new tasks brings me great pleasure."

Fit and experienced: Granny Azar
Travelexperienced Granny Azar is looking forward to working as a Granny Aupair or companion in the near future, preferably in China, the USA or Italy. The 70-year-old former business economist and management consultant has often travelled abroad for the Senior Expert Service.
The mother of grown-up sons is very active, does a lot of walking and is passionate about cooking and baking German, Italian and Persian cuisine. In her profile she writes: "I love children and animals. Unfortunately,I don't have any grandchildren yet. (I am looking look forward to) variety and meeting new people and an open-minded nice family with 1-2 children."

From the beginning of next year, Granny Anja (user name: Anja W.) would like to help out a family, preferably in the USA or Canada.
The animal-loving 56-year-old former kindergarten head, self-employed textile designer and handicraft trader is very experienced in travelling, and also loves baking, crafts and hiking. The mother of adult children is looking forward to broadening her horizons. In her profile she writes: "As a parent, I know what happiness and challenges family life can offer. I would like to contribute to making family life relaxed and fun.“

Make clear arrangements regarding all things regarding remuneration. Board and lodging are free for the Granny in return for childcare.
