Dear Ladies,

Summer is  having a little break at the moment and some of you are probably experiencing a bit of cabin fever. Would you like to get out of your four walls? Browse through small alleys far away from the beaten tourist tracks and tour buses? Enjoy delicious local dishes in a family circle? Experience local customs up close on holidays? Or simply gather new impressions in a strange environment in your own country?

Discovering new paths is not a question of age.  Not only young people, but increasingly the "older generation" as well would like to experience a normal everyday life in an unknown environment.With joint activities in the free time and shared meals or excursions. People, sights and nature can be encountered much more intensively and authentically this way.

Granny Aupairs also discover other places far from their familiar surroundings from a completely different perspective, and meet people from different social backgrounds with different interests and cultures. And at the same time they have a meaningful task: our Grannies support the families they travel to. They play, paint, bake or sing with the children. The au pair granny takes the children to school or kindergarten and helps with their homework.

North Germany: Picturesque Baltic Sea fjord

Undisturbed nature experiences, cosy little villages and picturesque landscapes - you can discover all this in the Schlei region around the Baltic Sea fjord in Northern Germany. In addition, there are numerous bathing spots, bathing lakes and Baltic beaches, plus Denmark is not far away either.

In the small town of Schaalby, a captain's family of three (username: Stawasv) with a 2-year-old son is looking for a loving, flexible temporary Granny who can take some of the load off mum's shoulders when dad is away at sea for months at a time. The little one goes to nursery until the afternoon, so the Granny would have plenty of time to explore the beautiful surroundings.

A beautiful room in a spacious house in a rural setting awaits the Granny. The travel costs will be covered in full.

California Dreamin'

A beautiful old city centre – the Gaslamp Quarter, 112 kilometres of beaches, numerous museums and exhibitions: San Diego, the southernmost coastal city in California, is a true paradise for nature and culture lovers.

Here, a German-American family of four (username boesis) with two daughters (2 years and currently 2 months) is looking for a loving, baby-experienced, temporary grandma with a driver's licence from 1 November to support the parents, who work from home some of the time, especially with the baby. The older girl goes to nursery full time. The Granny will be provided with a nice room with private bathroom in a large house in a rural setting. Travel expenses will be covered in part.

Natural Paradise on the German-French Border

Nestled in a beautiful wooded hilly area, the small town of Sankt Ingbert, is situated in the south-west corner of Germany, directly near the French border. The whole town is also part of the Bliesgau valley biosphere reservation with untouched nature and many historical highlights.

Here a family of four (user name: dfb1920) with 2 boys (5 and 2) is looking for a loving, experienced Granny Aupair, ideally for at least 6 months. The two boys go to kindergarten until around 15:00, so the Granny would have enough time to herself for instance to visit a language course. A nice room with private bathroom in a large house in the suburbs is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be taken over completely.
