Generation schmerzlich vermisst
Immer mehr Kinder wachsen ohne Großeltern auf

Hamburg, im April 2017: Am Wochenende geht’s zu Oma! Das können leider immer weniger Kinder sagen. Denn viele Familien haben keine Oma und auch keinen Opa. Das liegt u.a. an der immer späteren Familiengründung. Waren in den 1960er Jahren die Muttis noch durchschnittlich Anfang 20 beim ersten Kind, sind sie heute mindestens 10 Jahre älter.

A call for aid has now reached us from the desert state of Arizona in the south west of the USA, specifically from its capital Phoenix, where a loving  family is looking for  a life experienced, nature- and animal-loving Granny as soon as possible to support them with caring for their two little boys.

Have you always wanted to travel to the States, especially to the beautiful south west? Fancy a spontaneous journey? Or just want to help? If you can imagine a stay in Phoenix, we would be pleased if you contact the family.

Magnificent Southwestern State

Some of the most extraordinary natural spectacles in the world, impressive cultural diversity and an excellent infrastructure, all await you in Arizona. Here a German-American family of four with the user name Dörte K. from Phoenix is looking forward to welcoming an experienced, responsible and empathetic Granny as from the beginning of May. The family has two small boys (5 years and 11 months old), who go to kindergarten and crèche a few days a week as well as two female dogs. The older boy is high functioning autistic, the baby has some developmental delays. As help is mainly needed in the mornings and early evening hours, the Granny would have enough time to explore the fascinating surroundings. A lovely room with private bath in a large house on the outskirts as well as a car will be made available. The travel costs will be taken over completely.
