Liebe Leserin,
der 1. Juni ist nicht nur der meteorologische Sommeranfang, in vielen Ländern wird auch der Kindertag gefeiert. Eine gute Idee, die auf die Genfer Weltkonferenz für das Wohlergehen der Kinder im Jahr 1925 zurückgeht. 1954 beauftragten die Vereinten Nationen das Kinderhilfswerk UNICEF mit der Ausrichtung eines Weltkindertages, der international gefeiert werden sollte.
Wir freuen uns: Beim Digital Female Leader Award der Initiative Global Digital Women hat Michaela Hansen von Granny Aupair es unter die Top 3 Finalistinnen der Kategorie Mobility geschafft! Viele Grannies haben sich für das Projekt den ersten Computer zugelegt, sich erstmalig auf einem Portal angemeldet und dann den Schritt in weit entfernte Länder gewagt. Digitalisierung und Mobilität gehen bei Granny Aupair daher Hand in Hand.

sowohl die Infoveranstaltung als auch der workshop waren sehr informativ und inspirierend. Die Veranstaltung hat mich in meinem Entschluss, als grannyaupair in die Welt zu ziehen, bestärkt. Bereits am Pfingstmontag breche ich auf nach Italien, um meine Gastfamile kennenzulernen.
