Learning English plus New Zealand Way of Life

With our offer Live & Learn, in cooperation with our New Zealand partner agency, you visit the (compulsory) language school in the mornings (either 15 or 23 hours a week) and can then explore the beautiful area around Tauranga, Queenstown or Auckland - without other commitments.

The next courses start on February 6th,  April 24th or September 11th (other starting dates can be arranged). You can either stay on your own with a host family or, at a lower cost, on the language school campus in a twin room (if you want to travel with a friend, for example).

The Aupair & Learn programm is also starting up again in 2023, depending on families, who would like a Granny Aupair. Here, the Granny Aupair attends a language course and then helps the family as an au pair in the afternoon. This Aupair & Learn offer is only possible in combination with a language course (14 weeks or more) for which a fee is charged.

You can find out more under the user name Doris1 (Live & Learn) or Bushyhead3 (Aupair & Learn). Please log in using the login-button above right on our website.

Cultural Metropolis in Down Under

Melbourne in the Australian state of Victoria is characterised by a high quality of life: Here visitors are attracted by the green banks of the Yarra River, the white beaches of Port Phillip Bay and the Yarra Ranges with their high mountains to the east of the city. In addition, there are plenty of shopping and cultural opportunities, for example in the famous Queen Victoria Market.

In the eastern district of Keilor East, a small family with the username Debra Attwell - mum and 12-year-old daughter plus two cats is looking for a reliable and independent Granny Aupair, who can help out the mama, who works in shifts, a bit. The girl goes to school until 15.30 and is with the father every other week, so the Granny would have plenty of time to explore the beautiful surroundings or even do a language course. The Granny will have a nice room with her own bathroom in a house on the outskirts of the city.

The Heart of America

The White House, Capitol, exciting museums and beautiful parklands - you can discover it all in Washington D.C..

In the city of Alexandria, close to the exciting American capital, a small family (username nellycee) with a one-year-old son and a second child expected in July is looking for a loving, baby-experienced Granny Aupair with a driving licence.

Little Noah goes to nursery during the day, the family would especially need support before and when the newborn has arrived. A nice room in a big house on the outskirts of the city is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be covered in part.

Are you good at doing things on your own (important if the family lives in the outskirts of town or in the country) or do you prefer a lively environment? Do you prefer city life or country life, or do you just want to try something completely new? These things also count when making a decision about which family/country you would like to go to.
