Dear Families,

Anyone who has children and wants to have a career or even aims to be self-employed is dependent on some help in order to juggle everything. There is always too little time, so you should seize the chance if a reliable person offers to help with childcare.

The great thing about a Granny Aupair is not only that you have someone on site with experience, humor and wisdom – no, even better is that the temporary Granny is living with you as a family member and not as an employee. Granny Aupair is about being together with a family in a different culture, in other surroundings, having a responsible task and an everyday life that is more lively than before. While the parents are at work, the Granny can use her rich wealth of experience and rediscover the world through the eyes of her charges. She can re-use the songs, the games, the stories she enjoyed with her own children and even grandchildren, can think up new entertainment methods, can teach again, play, comfort and cuddle. And at the same time, she also knows she is providing the young parents with a service that is worth its weight in gold.

At the moment around 60 Grannies from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, but also from France, Luxembourg and Brazil are looking for a nice family whom they can support with advice and assistance. Humorous and patient: Granny Virginie  

Granny Virginie (username Virginie) would very much like to become a Granny in an English-speaking country from the beginning of January 2022. Born in France, she has lived in Germany for almost 30 years and would like to improve her English skills. The 50-year-old sales representative enjoys cooking and baking and is also interested in sports and culture. The animal-loving mother of two grown-up sons is looking forward to spending time with an open-minded and nice family, to enjoy activities with the children and to help organise daily life together. She would also like to attend a language course.

Active and warmhearted: Granny Cordula

Granny Cordula (user name Corla) would also like to help out a family from November, preferably in an English- or German-speaking European country. The 61-year-old social education worker likes to be on the move, loves art and culture and also enjoys cooking and baking.

The widowed mother of two grown-up sons and grandmother of two grandchildren is an open person also in view of new and unusual things and likes to try things out. She is anticipating living with and contributing to a family and in return getting to know the country.

Curious and open: Granny Bärbel

As soon as possible, Granny Bärbel (user name Baer Bel) would like to support a family with advice and assistance, preferably in English- or French-speaking countries. The 67-year-old former coach and sommelier enjoys cooking and also loves travelling and sports. The mother of grown-up children is eager to travel and learn languages again. She is looking forward to be able to combine her love for children with accompanying them for a while and to supporting their parents.

Please make sure you keep your profile up to date. If you have found a Granny, please change the date from when you are looking for one under "Profile settings". You can also deactivate and reactivate your profile at any time during your membership. You agree about the duration of the stay individually with the Granny. Please bear in mind, however, that the Granny is undertaking a private trip as a tourist and is bound by the visa regulations of your country. Most of our Grannies prefer a stay between 2 and 6 months.
