Granny Aupair

Danke, das war eine sehr angenehme Gruppe. Und danke, das war ein ganz toller, intensiver Workshop. Schön, dass ich dazu, bzw. noch hinein kommen konnte.

Der Fisch im Hafen hat köstlich geschmeckt und die Nacht war noch lange!! Wir hatten in der Nacht noch einen super Ausblick von den „Geschwistertürmen“ an der Reeperbahn. Der Club „Clouds“ in der „Himmelsetage“ machte das möglich. Der Samstag war auch noch ein toller Tag mit Rundfahrt in der Stadt und im Hafen. Ein paar gelungene Tage in Hamburg. Vielen Dank nochmals für den aufschlussreichen Seminartag, Ihre Kompetenz, Lockerheit und vor allem Ihre Freude mit Menschen zu arbeiten – kam echt rüber.

Dear Families,

If both kids and job are waiting, then parents know the day just doesn’t have enough hours. It requires a lot of skill and organizational ability to combine both important aspects of life so that no one gets a raw deal. How nice it would be to have another pair of helping hands on board, to give support in tackling all the jobs to be done, especially if the own parents live far away.

Schweren Herzens ist unsere Granny Brigitte gestern Morgen zum Flughafen aufgebrochen.
Nun ist sie schon wieder sicher zu Hause in Deutschland gelandet und ich bin mir sicher, dass ihre Enkelkinder die Geschichten lieben werden, die sie ihnen jetzt über ihr großes Abenteuer "Afrika" erzählen kann.

Dear Parents!
With a very heavy heart our granny Brigitte took off to the airport yesterday morning.
By now she has arrived sound and safe back home in Germany and I am sure her grandchildren will enjoy all the stories that she now can share with them about her big adventure “Africa”.

Dear Granny-Aupair-Team, Evelyn sends you warm greetings from a wonderful city in the far East.
Once again I am totally thankful to be able to be around and about in the big wide world as a Granny, this time in Shanghai. My stay is until the middle of May.

Wieder mal bin ich unendlich dankbar dafür, als Granny in der großen, weiten Welt, diesmal in Shanghai, sein zu dürfen. Mein Aufenthalt geht bis Mitte Mai.

Dear Ladies,

Reinhild would love to be a Granny. She had always dreamt of cuddling with the little ones, to dry their tears, to play with them and bake cakes. “What grandmothers simply do”, she says and adds: “My daughter, my only child, never wanted children.”
