Dear family,

Easter is the celebration of spring - the time when nature awakens to new life all around us! And we human beings often feel like starting new ventures with energy and fresh courage.

So why not try something completely different?  For example, re-organising your everyday life as a family: A Granny Aupair brings a wealth of life experience into your family and relieves you with the daily childcare. 

At the moment, around 100 Grannies are looking for a loving family they would like to support. We would like to introduce you to three of them below. You can find many more loving temporary Grannies in our online community.

Warm-hearted and versatile: Granny Jutta  

The experienced Granny Jutta (user name: tlys2012) would once again like to support a family with children from the age of 4, preferably in a French-speaking country. The 70-year-old former Quality Manager IT, loves to cook and also gives cooking classes (among others for children). She also enjoys theatre and culture.

In her profile, she writes: "I would like a family that accepts me in an uncomplicated way and integrates me into their daily routine. The family will receive support and relief through me and I will have the opportunity to contribute and at the same time get to know another country."

Open and committed: Granny Silvia       

Granny Silvia from Austria (username: Silvia Maria) would also like to support a family as a Granny Aupair or companion from July 1st, preferably in a European country.

The 62-year-old former graphic designer has decades of experience with childcare, in the private sector, but also as a temporary aunt/granny for a family association in Vienna. The creative granny loves reading, cooking, nature, hiking, swimming, long walks, travelling and animals.

In her profile she writes: "I like to travel, to get to know people, places, landscapes, cultures. Granny Aupair is a nice way to combine my interests with looking after children, as a member of a family."

Versatile and sociable: Granny Margit

Granny Margit (username: Davi from Namibia), a native of Namibia, is looking forward to helping a family as a Granny Aupair from May/June.

The 65 year old multilingual former tour guide and hotelier, who now lives in Germany, loves to cook, enjoys reading and is very fond of animals. Due to her many step-children and -grandchildren she has a lot of experience with young people.

In her profile she writes: "Since my husband passed away and I met a Granny Aupair ( who stayed on a farm in the south) at friends, I am excited about the possibility of being a Granny Aupair to follow the wanderlust that has stealthily been making itself felt.”
