Heute hat die zweite Woche Unterricht angefangen, wir haben fleißig Verben konjugiert - zumindest war das das Ziel der Lektion. Da ich doch einige (bisher kaum brauchbare) Brocken Spanisch aus Guatemala und Barcelona mitgebracht habe ist vieles Wiederholung und damit um einiges einfacher und interessanter.

The role of grandparents in the family is not to be underestimated: they support, intercept, help, educate and are at your side with help and advice. They are often much loved by the children, and the parents rely on them.

Ich war drei Monate bei einer jungen Familie mit zwei Mädchen, vier und sieben Jahre alt, in Melbourne.
Montags bis freitags war ich im Einsatz und die Wochenenden hatte ich für mich. Die Familie ermöglichte mir ein verlängertes Wochenende in Sydney.

I spent three months with a family with two girls, four and seven years old, in Melbourne.
I was "on the job" mondays to fridays and had the weekends to myself. The family enabled me to take a long weekend in Sydney.
