I spent three months with a family with two girls, four and seven years old, in Melbourne.
I was "on the job" mondays to fridays and had the weekends to myself. The family enabled me to take a long weekend in Sydney. They let me join them on their Spring holiday in New South Wales for a week. The whole time was a fantastic experience! I do not regret a single day I spent here. I lived in a lovely big room and really felt as member of the family. The connection to the town is very good. And the city: Just a dream! Melbourne has not received the award World's most liveable city for nothing. Fantastic parks and museums, the Yarra River and a relaxed flair.

I was able to undertake day trips with various bus companies for instance to the Great Ocean Road and to Philipp Island. Sometimes we took trips with the family at the weekend or went to a restaurant. The grandfather of the family showed me his favourite parts of the city in my free time. It was just a great time altogether!
