Dear Grannies,

Today we want to introduce you to three families from across Europe, who are looking for a pair of helping hands in the near future or even for next year.

This is your chance to explore a new culture, share your life experience, and make lasting memories — all while becoming part of a loving family. As a Granny Aupair, you can immerse yourself in local life, improve your language skills, and make new friends from all walks of life.

You can find many more families from Europe and from across the world on our online community.

Best summery greetings from

Your Michaela Hansen and Your Granny Aupair-Team

Culture and Savoir-Vivre: Granny needed soon in German Saar-Region

A bit of French flair, culinary diversity and a colourful cultural scene characterise the city of Saarbrücken near the German-French border. Nature, forests, streams, meadows and numerous parks also ensure a wonderfully green cityscape.

Here an Italian-German family (user name Janet W.) with a boy, 7, and a girl, currently 20 months old, would like to welcome an experienced, independent temporary grandmother with a driving licence who also enjoys cooking as a new member of the family as soon as possible.

The mother will be returning to work in September and will be away two days a week. The little boy goes to school until 3:45 p.m. and the little girl goes to the childminder until 2:00 p.m., so the Granny would have enough time to explore the exciting surroundings and/or visit a language course. Travel expenses will be taken over in part.

Castles, History and Nature in Switzerland

In addition to castles and palaces with centuries of history, the Swiss canton of Aargau also offers a variety of hiking and cycling trails through beautiful landscapes.

In the small village of Widen, nestled between forests and lakes in the Limmat Valley not far from Zurich, a Swiss-Iranian family of four (username Mmna) with four-year-old twin boys is looking for a loving, sporty, flexible temporary grandmother with a driving licence, preferably for a longer period as from beginning of September.  Both boys go to nursery 4 days a week in the mornings (plus afternoons on Thursdays.)

A beautiful large room in a spacious house with a pool in picturesque surroundings awaits the Granny. Travel expenses will be covered in part.

Bonnie Scotland

A spectacular coastline, magnificent castles and a stunning countryside can all be found in the region of Fife in Scotland.

The small Victorian town of Newport on Tay is situated directly on Scotland’s longest river Tay near the city of Dundee.  As from March next year a surgeons‘ family (user name Franhk) with three children ( 2 girls 8 and 6) and boy 4 plus cat is looking forward to  welcoming a loving and experienced temporary grandma with driving licence as new member of the family.

The children go to school until 3 p.m. so the Granny would have enough time to explore the beautiful surroundings and/or visit an language course.

A lovely large room with private bath in a big house on the town outskirts is waiting for the Granny. The travel costs will be taken over completely.
